McLean, VA – The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is now accepting entries for the 2023 Adrian Awards. The 67th annual Adrian Awards competition focuses on WanderLOVE, highlighting the stories of remarkable marketing and public relations campaigns, ads, earned media programs, experiential and digital experiences that spark a love for travel, igniting a desire for exploration in travelers around the world. Winners will be honored at the HSMAI Adrian Awards Celebration, returning to the New York Marriott Marquis, February 13, 2024.
HSMAI is honored to acknowledge the innovators within the travel and hospitality industry. The Adrian Awards encompass five divisions: Advertising, Digital, Public Relations/Communications, Integrated Campaigns and trending topics. In the spirit of WanderLOVE, HSMAI invites travel industry professionals and agencies to enter the projects and campaigns that inspire travelers to venture out, see the world and create memories.
The Adrian Awards are embracing the ever-changing landscape of travel and hospitality marketing, adding seven new categories, increasing the total number to 52. These include awards for digital creators, reputation management, affiliate marketing and broadcast integration. In addition, this year’s new Trending categories are Artificial Intelligence and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) marketing. These additions reflect the future of the industry and provide a wide variety of opportunities for industry professionals and agencies to submit outstanding work.
Also new this year, one Gold Award will be given in each entry category for small, medium and large budget campaigns, in addition to multiple Silver and Bronze awards. Each Gold Award recipient will be considered for a select number of Platinum awards, and Platinums will be considered for Best of Show awards in the Advertising, Digital, Public Relations/Communications and Integrated Campaigns divisions. Top Trending division entries will receive a President’s Award.

Entries will be judged by a panel of advertising, digital, public relations and communications experts and leading members of the hospitality and travel industry. Professionals interested in being a judge must have at least eight years of hospitality, travel or tourism marketing, or specific media experience. Nominations are also being accepted for the 2023 class of HSMAI Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in sales, marketing, revenue optimization and distribution. HSMAI is also accepting nominations for Lifetime Achievement Awards in marketing and public relations.
