In 2020, each tenth of young people aged 15-29 (33.2 thousand or 11.9%) didn’t work or research. Women aged 25-29 are extra possible to stay exterior the labor market: one in 5 ladies in that age hole (21%) is unable to enter the labour marketplace for a wide range of causes and circumstances, in accordance to the group.
In order to help young people enter the labor market, the “Go remote” pilot undertaking has been launched, below which the group will help young people in Latvia to discover work that may be performed remotely.
The undertaking will present young people with:
free coaching;
remote job presents;
profession mentors;
options for job interviews.
Young people aged 20 to 29 who need to work remotely are invited to apply on the platform and observe it on social media.
The undertaking was launched in May 2022 and can happen by December 2023.
